The two building blocks of a complete table
A truly game-ready table needs two things:
- Floor layout – templates or markings that define where terrain actually stands and how big the line-of-sight blockers are
- 3D terrain – the actual buildings, ruins, and structures that serve as cover and line-of-sight blockers
Most cost breakdowns you find online only account for one of these two points. We're including both.
The actual math

A well-known system manufacturer recently opened pre-orders for an official, unpainted Combat Patrol-sized terrain set at €135.00. According to its own product description, this set explicitly covers only a Combat Patrol-sized play area – not a full standard table. Covering a complete 6x4-foot table would likely require multiple boxes.
